LK Avelar Biography

 

 

LK Avelar is an up-and-coming entertainer with a growing list of credits in film, television and music, an increasingly popular personal branding blog, and a marketing and promotional company that benefits various local and national non-profit organizations.

Raised on a farm in a small town in Idaho, LK caught the acting bug at the age of 5.  From that point forward, he took any opportunity to perform, from school and church plays to community and local theatre, both in his hometown and in Hollywood, California where he currently resides.  He graduated from Western Wyoming College with a degree in Musical Theatre & Dance.  

Prior to moving to Los Angeles LK lived in San Francisco, working at BOOM! Models & Talent where he began his professional entertainment career.  Since then he has been in several national print and commercial campaigns including McDonalds, On the Boarder, and Maxtor Hard Drives, just to name a few.  He also played a lead in the West Hollywood based pilot "BOYSTOWN".

Currently, LK is actively pursuing solid acting and performance opportunities as well as writing and producing various forms of Digital and Social Media as he defines personal branding in the entertainment industry.
